The badger was starting to catch up, but because of speed, but because of it's size...
Hollypaw summoned all of her strength and darted to Dovemist's side, but she was to late. Something had grabed her tail...

Both Dovemist and Spiderpaw sprung back and leapt onto the badger, Spiderpaw bit down on his back and Dovemist clawed at it's eyes.

The badger screeched in pain, whipping around and clawing feircly at Spiderpaw, gouging his side and flinging him into a foxglove. Hollypaw pulled out of it's grasp and saw the end of her tail, bloody and mangled. She snarled at it and dashed forward, nocking it back with her head and scratching it's flank with her hind claws as she lept over it.

Spiderpaw yowled in pain, his head hazy he pulled himself to his feet and continued fighting as Dovemist dug her claws deep into the badgers eyes.

The badger snarled, digging large white claws into the dirt ground and swinging it's blind head madly. It turned and flead, cat fur scattered all over it's black and white body.

Hollypaw crouched, panting and looking at Spiderpaw. She limped over to him, trying to avoid using her bloody left paw. "You alright?" She meowed.

Spiderpaw nodded vaguley before stumbling, Dovemist scooped him up "WHat on earth were you doing out here!" she hissed,
"It's not her fault it was my idea" Mewed Spiderpaw loyaly

Hollypaw shot Spiderpaw a glance. "we went hunting, and then the rain came, and we took shelter, but then it got real real foggy and..." Hollypaw looked at her paws.
