Darknight opened one eye and smiled at her before drifitng off as well.
A few hours later he opened his eyes to see sunlight filtering rough the den. He got up carefully and stretched. He padded outside so as not to wake Snowbird.

Snowbirds paws twithced as she chaced a rabbit in her dreams. She followed it through a stream, through bracken and into a shining hollow, filled with cats. They had stars in their pelts and stars in their eyes. She came to a feirce halt. "Who are you?" She demanded.

Snowbird gazed at the white she-cat, without speekig. "You mean...you died?" She whispered, blinking her bright blue eyes. "What about...Dad?" She said, not sitting down. She didnt want ot get any hopes up.

The cat looked at her, "That is not for me to tell, but for you to find out" she mewed softly, nuzzling her "Goodbye sweetheart, I love you" then everything went black.

Snowbird jerked awake, panting and blinking, tail lashing. She propped herself on her two front legs. She blinked her blue eyes. She drew in a deep breath, and shut her eyes for a second. "Darknight?" She said, looking around. This is when she realized it was morning. She licked her chest fur in embarresment and shut her eyes for another second, and got up. She streched, arching her back and attempting to shrug off her dream.

I...I'm fine. Snowbird said, attempting to steady her voice. We have to go. She said in a dark voice. An anger rose up inside the small white cat's chest, like a volcano bubbeling to the point of exploding. She wanted find the body of her mother. And she was going to kill the cat who killed her mother.

Darknight looked at her, knowing she was angry...that something was wrong "Ok Snowbird" he said calmly, knowing not to question her right now.
