Bluebreeze

Blubreeze groaned and turned over, her mind raced and her legs kicked out from side to side as she dreamt.

"Bluekit!" a tall she-cat with dark brown fur bent down to clean the little kit nuzzling her leg. "You'll be the death of me sweetheart" Bluekit looked up as she saw a lighter haired tom pad over to them, he licked the kit once and spoke urgently and quietly to the she-cat Her face darkened and she flicked the kit once, "Go play in the den honey" she lickd her cheek once and dissapeared. Then everything spireled out of control. Screams echoed around Bluebreeze's head "Bluebreeze! Save me!" she saw her own brother dissapear into the darkness, her fathers angry face and her mothers soft, anxious one whirl around her. "No!" she murmered "Mother, father!"

Bluebreeze sat bolt upright, drenched in cold sweat and breathing heavily. Her greeny-blue eyes darted around the dark claring and she realised she was shaking. She felt tears burn in he back of her eyes but she pushed them away. Still shaing she began to clean her fur, trying to banish her dream.

A spotted tomcat was crouching in the bushes, surrounding a oak tree. A rabbit and her kittens played in the sunlight infront of him. He was dappled by the sunlight, unsented and unheared by the waren of rabbits. He growled and was about to pounce, hic long claws kneeding the ground infront of him...

Laying a little away from Bluebreeze, Cheetahclaw grunted as she kicked him in the back. He was jerked awake, sitting up and aware of everything. "Wha? Whats happenin'?" He grunted, voice heavy with sleep.

Bluebreeze was still shaking, she had hardly slept the past few weeks because of her dreams and was so tired... she moved closer to Cheetaclaw and snuggled closer to him; she wanted his comfort.

Cheetahclaw smiled to himself and moved a touch closer to the she-cat. He smiled and closed his chocolaty eyes and fell back into his land of chacing bunnies...

Bluebreeze felt her breathing slow to a regular weight, she fel safe now. Her eyelids drooped over her sharp eyes and soon she fell asleep.

About two hours later, Cheetahclaw opened his eyes, the sun shining way to brightly in them. He growled at the painfull light, and slowly got up to strech.

Bluebreeze's head flopped to one side, she'd been resting it on his back whilst she slept. "Five more minuets mom" she groaned and rolled over. Then, waking fully she leapt up, embarrassed and mumbled something about being sorry for last night and how she was very sorry.
