Docstar laughed and pelted after her, he'd become much faster and was soon at her side without much effort.

Mapledance skidded to a halt and darted off to one side. He was always larger than her and so she was better on her feet.

Docstar stumbled slighty as he turned, then he sprinted back the other way that she was going, slightly behind now.

Mapledane suddenly stopped, and turned to Docstar. "Do you remember when you recived the life of love?" She meowed, looking into his eyes.

Docstar nodded, "It was so hard to endure" he mewed "I expected it to be like that but..." he began to shake "It was like back there" he mewed "When I reliving it"

Suddenly everything began to swirl around him "I love you!" he called again, then he sat bolt upright in his den. He hissed angrily, he couldn't believe they'd fought. He sighed as a tear trickled down his face, then he shook it away. Daylight seeped through his den and he got to his feet, ready to make the journey back to EagleClan

Mapledance sighed as the world around her faded into black nothingness, only starlight to light the path the took. "I love you, too." She meowed softly at the fading imprint of Docstar left on the night sky. life never lasts forever. We'll be together again one day. She re-assured herself. In a way, she wanted for Docstar to die, so they could be together, but in a way she dreaded when it happened. It was compilcated. She turned with a drooping til and started walking her long path back to the hunting grounds of Dove, Eagle, Falcon and OwlClans StarClan.
Maplepaw was curled up next to Docstar, and didnt seem to notice when her father awoke, startled. She just rolled over and batted at something unsean in the air above her.
Brightpaw was sitting on the treelimb outside the willow's den, her tail hanging over the edge of the branch. I wonder what being in a Clan will be like...after so long... She thought to herself, closing her eyes and breathing in the cool dawn's air around her.
Peachfur walked out and sat down wordlessly beside her. She had taken care of this kit from almost birth after Cloudstream and Swiftwind had perished in the fire. She licked her ear. "It'll be OK." She whispered, half to herself and half to Brightpaw.
