A/N*Waves Flag* Don't Kill Me! I just fixed up a few tiny things in this part that will help with the whole 'making sence' part of the story Also, I won't be able to update for a while, School starts again
Chapter 1
Our Time Together Is Now Gone, Remember?
The TARDIS was practically silent apart from the soft humming that like usual, filled the halls and rooms of the old machine. Jack lent again the doorframe that lead into the main console room, his arms crossed and an almost shadowed look in his eyes. Sleep just seemed impossible at the current moment and he had no idea why. Jack yawned silently his thoughts drifting away from him as he watched his, sort of, on again, off again friend stare at the time rotor.
The Doctor’s eyes never moved as he stood there, Part leaning over and his left hand holding the small computer screen straight so he could read it. Not That He Was. The Doctor’s Mind was chaos, and the jumble of feelings and facts that were filling him were starting to become one. Every day became harder and harder with the knowledge that He would more than likely never see rose again.
Rose.
That was a bad idea. The doctor could feel the tears wanting to break loose and let all the pain, loss and despair wash out of him, only to have it happen again the next day. A few tears leaked their way down his face as he remembered back. He could still remember everything about Rose. The way their hands fitted perfectly together, the way she smiled and her soft eyes, the way she always knew when to stop him or talk to him and the way she saved the world. That was clearly the last straw as more tears ran down his face.
Tears soon turned to sobs as The Doctor fell freely backwards onto the chair behind him, his legs curling underneath as he buried his face in his hands, his deep sobs echoing around the main console room.
Jack watched, barely able to cope seeing the doctor like this, Again. Every night for the last week he would wake up to find the doctor out here, working on the TARDIS, but always ending like this. Jack looked over to the console, where a yellow sticky note was stuck covered in random notes that Rose; the doctor and he had scribbled to each other year’s back. Jack stood up straight and grabbed the sticky note pad he still held in his coat pocket, along with his pen Gwen had given him before he came with the doctor, Martha and Donna. Scribbling a note quickly, he walked silently over to the doctor, who by now was just crying softly. He peeled of the sticky note and stuck it on the back of his hands, which were still against his face. Taking a step back, He waited for the doctor’s reply.
The Doctor felt the note being stuck to his hand and blinked, removing his hands from his face and giving his red eyes a wipe with his sleeve. ‘Want to talk about it?’ He looked up at Jack who was leaning against the console and sighed, nodding. It was time he told Jack everything.

‘Waking up at the start of the end of the world,
But it’s feeling just like every morning before,
Now I wonder what my life is going to mean if it’s gone,
The cars are moving like a half a mile an hour if that
I started staring at the passengers waving goodbye
Can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time’
This song always made Rose cry. So, she had no idea why every morning it played on the radio, just as her alarm went off. Rose reached out, but instead of turning it off like normal, she just draped her hand over the side of the bed and stared at the clock. She just couldn’t turn it off right now.
‘But I believe the world is burning to the ground,
Oh well I guess we're gonna find out,
Let's see how far we've come,
Let's see how far we've come,
Well I, believe, it’s all, coming to an end,
Oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
Let's see how far we've come,
Let's see how far we've come,’
Rose sighed, the last time she saw the doctor; the world was burning to the ground, burning with laser shots from daleks and Cybermen as they were sucked into the void. And the transmission at Bad Wolf Bay, That was when her world burnt to the ground. Rose pressed her head into the soft pillows.
‘I think it’s turning to a crock but I don't really know,
I can't remember caring for an hour or so,
Started crying and I couldn't stop myself,
I started running but there was nowhere to run to,
I sat down on the street and took a look at myself,
Said where you going you know the world is heading for hell,
Say your goodbyes if you've got someone you can say goodbye to,’
‘I believe the world is burning to the ground,
Oh well I guess we're gonna find out,
Let’s see how far we've come,
Let’s see how far we've come,
Well I, believe, it’s all, coming to an end,
Oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
Let’s see how far we've come,
Let’s see how far we've come,’
Rose couldn’t bare it any longer and slammed her hand down hard on the snooze button. She let out a small whimper; she just couldn’t get up and have to face her torchwood crew again, not like this. They had to go track down a few roaming Weevils, but they would also be trying to track down why rose was crying again. She tried to stifle her tears, but failed miserably and sobbed into her pillows as the clock started to sing again.
‘Its gone, gone baby it’s all gone,
There is no one on the corner and there's no one at home,
It was cool, cool, it was just all cool,
Now it's over for me and it's over for you,
Well its gone, gone baby it’s all gone,
There is no one on the corner and there's no one at home,
Well it was cool, cool, it was just all cool,
Now it's over for me and it's over for you,’
‘But I believe the world is burning to the ground
Oh well I guess we're gonna find out
Let’s see how far we've come
Let’s see how far we've come
Well I, believe, it’s all, coming to an end
Oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
Let’s see how far we've come
Let’s see how far we've come
Let’s see how far we've come
Let’s see how far we've come
Let’s see how far we've come
Let’s see how far we've come.’
Rose sighed deeply into her pillows, still whimpering softly as she pulled herself up, getting out of the bed in one swift movement. She moved silently to the bathroom, washing down her face to try and get rid of the red swelling that surrounded her eyes after sobbing for 5 minutes straight. Her torchwood uniform was draped neatly on her dressing table, next to her leather coat that Mickey had given her and her Sonic Blaster that she had found and hidden at a crash site. Getting changed, she slipped the leather jacket on and realised what a wreck she had become over the last 7 years as tears, only slightly this time ran down her face at the jacket. Shaking the thoughts of the doctor out of her head once more, she grabbed her ID and the blaster. At least this reminded her of Jack. Who had travelled with the doctor and her.
Damn.
There she went again, tears filling her eyes as she blinked them away and for the second time that morning, she moved to the bathroom and washed down her face. Finally ready, and at 6am which for her was really pushing her chances of getting out of the house without being cornered by Jackie, Rose moved silently and quickly down the Hall. She stopped as she reached a pale blue door with a small silver plate neatly hung on the door; the plate had thin, cursive writing imbedded into it. Rose sighed, opening the door and poking her head through it. The room’s walls were a pale sky blue and covered in rather beautiful drawings and photo’s that had been drawn on what the young owner of the room had thought some of the things in Rose’s stories had looked like. Rose shivered on how accurate the pictures were to the real things. Her room was relatively tidy apart from the two desks that were littered with papers and pulled apart objects that had fallen into the 7-year-olds grip. The bed was up higher than your normal single bed with a tiny ladder leading up. The bed sheets were the same sky blue as the rest of the room with fluffy white clouds covering them and the pillows.
Rose walked quietly into the room and over to the bed, nudging the neat lump that lied in the centre of the bed, a small pale hand with long fingers hanging limply out the side. Rose smiled, pulling back the sheets slightly and ruffled the bright blonde and brown hair that hung limply down her daughter’s shoulders. “Sky, Sweetheart, I’ve Got to Go to Work Now I’ll see you tonight,” Rose whispered softly in sky’s ear. A small groan was all Rose received as she walked out the door, closing it softly behind her. Rose moved silently and quickly down the stairs and out the door, locking and closing it behind her.
“And What Do You Think Your Doing?”
Rose jumped, spinning around from the door, but sighed with relief and a slight part of anger at Mickey, who lent against the wall. “I’ve been waiting for the last hour. What did you do, miss your alarm or cry into your pillows again?” Rose just shoved past him, slamming the back of his head with her palm. “I told you not to wait” She growled, opening the driver’s side of the Torchwood Van and getting in as Mickey Climbed in the other side. They both sat in silence as rose started the van up and backed out of the garage and spun the steering wheel around as they set off down the road.
Chapter 2
A Typical Day These Days, Well, Almost
The Doctor and Jack sat in silence, jack too stunned to say a thing and the doctor just sitting there, looking at his shoes. “Anyways, None of That Matters Now” The Doctor said with fake Cheerfulness as he leapt to his feet and started to start up the TARDIS engines. Jack just watched the doctor for a moment before getting up too and snapping himself back to the current time. “Yeah, Right” He stammered, moving over to the other side of the rotor.
Martha moved silently into the console room, dressed and ready, she watched the two men stand at the console and smiled softly. “Morning,” She said cheerfully, trying to brighten up the very serious and sad feeling that filled the room. “Morning Martha, Donna” The Doctor Said as Donna joined them in the Room. Jack mumbled the same thing, more interested in his bare feet. “I’m Gonna Go get Changed,” her said and disappeared back up the hall.
“What’s His Problem?” asked Donna, moving to the chair and sitting down as the TARDIS gave a sudden lurch and Martha fell backwards against one of the luckily Padded bars around the room. “He’s Just A Little Distracted This Morning” The Doctor Replied, giving them a warm smile, which never reached his eyes. Martha climbed back to her feet and joined Donna as jack returned and joined the Doctor again. The TARDIS went quiet as it came to a slow stop. “Let's go then” The doctor said, walking over to the doors.
“We Are in France in the Year 4595” The Doctor Said, leaning against the doors.

Rose lent back on her chair in the office. They had successfully caught all five of the Weevils and now, they had nothing else to do. She sighed, running her fingers through her mattered blonde hair. She hated it when things slowed down as then, she could think and thinking wasn’t good for her. She had already done it once today, to no one’s notice, but Jane was watching her closely. Sighing, Rose got to her feet and joined the rest of the crew in the lounge. “Anyone do anything last night?” Jerry asked, leaning back on his wooden chair. “Nope, Just Rested In With Mike” Jane Replied, her eyes betraying what she felt like having to answer her father like that. “We Went Out For Tea, Mickey joining us,” Nick Said, Nodding to Mickey and Sarah. “What About you rose?”
Rose wasn’t listening. She had sat on the single armchair towards the back to no one’s notice. “Rose?” She snapped back to reality and smiled at Jerry. “Oh, Nothing, Just Stayed In With Jake and Sandy,” She said, referring to her little brother and sister. Jerry nodded, eyeing rose for a moment. “You Got A Problem?” She asked with a slight Snarl in her voice. Jerry stepped back in surprise. “No, Sorry rose,” He stammered. Jane glanced at rose, she was snapping more and more at those who questioned her.
Rose drifted back into her thoughts again, and much to her dismay, into the memory of bad Wolf Bay. Rose got suddenly to her feet and glanced around at the rest of the crew for a moment. “I Though I Detected Something Up At The cliffs, I’m gonna go check it out, Alone” She added before Nick or Mickey Could Say a thing. Rose turned on her heal and moved silently out of the lounge, leaving her crew sitting in surprise at her sudden outburst.
The Cliffs Were Quiet so she had time to just sit there, in silent, and cry to her heart’s content. No one knew about the doctor, no one knew where she came from or how he suddenly was noticed as Pete Tyler’s daughter, also how a twenty seven year old look the same age as a 20 year old. Rose sighed, her legs hanging off the side of the cliff as she leant back against the soft grass, sobbing silently.

The TARDIS doors swung open slowly at first before flying backwards as the doctor leapt up the walkway, throwing his jacket onto the closest coral pillar. “Ok then!” He yelled, bounding up to the time rotor and starting to press what seemed like random buttons and pulling levers. Jack bounded in after him, eyeing the doctor for a few moments before grinning and taking a seat on one of the rails. Martha and Donna soon joined them as the TARDIS dematerialised and started lurching as they travelled.
“Where to Now?” Martha had finally broken the difficult silence that had only been broken before by the doctor’s button pressing. The doctor looked up and shrugged, his eyes staying on the small screen. Suddenly the TARDIS groaned and started to spark; snapping the daydreaming doctor out of his what seemed like depressing dream. “No, No, No, No, No, No!” The doctor yelled, his yells getting louder with each word. Jack leapt off as the TARDIS lurched left, then right, then left again and dramatic intervals. He spun the screen around to the doctor, who tried to concentrate on it. Suddenly, the console exploded and the TARDIS started giving more and more lurches, throwing the doctor backwards just after he had read the screen. “Impossible!” He yelled to jack whom just glared at him, clutching onto the rails like Martha and Donna who had fallen of the seat.
After what felt like hours, the TARDIS came to a sudden stop and went dark, apart from a very small glow at the depths of the wires. The doctor climbed back to his feet and ran over to a grid, lifting it up and disappearing beneath. Suddenly the glow got brighter as the doctor climbed back up and ran to a nearby cupboard. Three torches flew backwards as Jack stammered to his feet, catching a torch as he balanced. Martha reached for the torch but missed, unlike Donna who couldn’t get on her feet in the first place. The doctor reappeared from the cupboard and ran back over to the computer screen. A grin started to cross his face as he read. He laughed, softly and first but it soon grew louder and louder as he turned and pulled Jack isn’t a hug of what seemed of complete pleasure and excitement.
Jack blinked as he was let go of and the doctor started addressing Martha and Donna. “Ok, This is how it goes, I’m gonna go find out how we got here and find someone so, feel free to wander for the next 24 hours. We are on a parallel universe so, yeah, everything is really the same. Anyways, come on jack, let’s go Find Rose!” he yelled, running down the walkway, his coat catching on his outstretched hand as he ran out the doors. “Oi, Wait Up!” Jack yelled, running after him.
Martha and Donna just stood there, complete and utter confusion showing to both of them. “Um, want to get A Cupper somewhere?” Martha nodded and the two disappeared out the doors as the TARDIS locked itself.
Chapter 3
Reunited, Right?
Rose sat for hours, just crying to herself without interfering with anyone that could tell her off or try to make her feel better. She couldn’t go home now as Jackie would be onto her like anything, know Mickey to go tell her about the outburst. Rose fell onto her back and watched the clouds, followed by the setting sun. This would have been perfect, if there had been what was missing. The Doctor wasn’t here beside her. She almost broke out in a new round of sobs but managed to just be quiet. There was no way he could come back, although she wouldn’t ever give up hope.
The doctor and jack walked along the gravel track to the cliff, just talking about what had just happened. Jack had suggested Torchwood and that was where they found Mickey and, was given their first lecture and fight of the day. Mickey wasn’t sure but sent them to Rose’s house where it was likely that she would have gone. But instead of Rose, the doctor was greeted by a hard slap across the cheek from Jackie and another lecture. They went back to Torchwood where jack got into a fistfight with Mickey over the issue, but meanwhile, the doctor had been told to go to the cliffs from Rose’s current best friend Jane and her Father.
Jack’s fists were still white with anger and he looked like he could kill someone, just with looks. As they came within sight of the Cliff, the doctor grabbed Jack’s arm and nodded to a fallen log. “Stay Here and cool off” He said quietly. With a Grumble Jack agreed and sat down as the doctor moved forward towards Rose.
“Rose,” He said, just loud enough so she could hear. His chest felt tight with nerves. This was terrible; He could face enemies of any sort, but got nervous when it came to rise. “Go away.” Came her muffled Reply and the doctor felt his hearts weaken in slight worry, but he still moved forward a step. “Rose,” he said a little louder. Rose was sick of this, why did everyone have to come and annoy her now. She was about to tell them to get lost but as soon as she turned around, the first thing that caught her eye was the grubby white sneakers that shifted on the ground. Her eyes drifted up as she automatically pulled herself to her feet. Rose just stood there, about two meters away from the doctor. They stood there for a few moments, just looking into each other’s eyes. “Is it really you?” rose was always the one to break the silence. The doctor couldn’t help but let out a small smile as he nodded, on the brink of tears again. Rose took a few steps forward, caution in what she could be leading her way into. The doctor looked down at rose with a grin crossing his face. Rose knew the smile and without thinking, she wrapped her arms limply around the doctor’s neck, looking into his eyes still. The doctor couldn’t hold back his tears as he wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly, not wanting to ever let her go. He rested his face on her neck and just stood there, her head against his shoulder. The Two just stood there for a long time, breathing silently, just enjoying being together again. Jack however had finally cooled down and was finally about to fall asleep, his head resting in his arm.
The doctor finally pulled away from her, grabbing both her hands and twining her fingers with him own. He looked into her eyes, unable to look away. “How long has it been?” The doctor asked softly, unable to keep the smile off his face. “Eight Years, Fifty Days, four hours and a few minutes, I haven’t been counting,” Rose smiled, giving a small laugh. The doctor gave her a goofy grin, his eyes betraying though how much he enjoyed being with her. “It’s been five for me,” he said, looking deep into her eyes. They stood there for a few moments, just looking into each other’s eyes before rose spoke again. “Doctor, I have never moved on. I still love you,” her voice was quieter than she wanted it to be. In embarrassment she looked down at her feet. The doctor looked down at rose and gently let go of her left hand, lifting her chin up with his finger. He continued to look into his eyes as he spoke. “Rose, There Is Nothing to be Ashamed Of, because, because. I love you too,” he said, pulling her into another hug. That was it, the words he had wanted to say for the last five years had finally been told. He loved rose so much, and now she knew.
Rose had waited for too long to hear him say those words. It almost hurt to finally hear him say it. Rose buried her face in his chest, her whole body shaking as she sobbed into the doctor’s jacket. The doctor stood there, tears running freely down his cheeks as he pulled rose tighter towards him, hushing her quietly. “Just One Thing,” The doctor said quietly in her ear. Rose looked up at him questioningly as a yawn echoed from the trees. Jack was leaning against a nearby tree, his eyes half closed as he was almost asleep. “Oh,” Rose said and gave a laugh, pulling away from the doctor and walked over to jack as he blinked awake again. “Hi Rose” He said as he gave him a hug too so he didn’t feel left out. Jack grinned as the doctor joined them and Jack pulled back, tripping over the log behind him.
The doctor looked back, grabbing Rose’s hand again. “Well, Let’s Go for a Walk, We are gonna be here till the TARDIS fixes herself,” He said, looking at rose with a loving look. Rose looked into his eyes and smiled. “Well, let’s go check on Donna and Martha,” Jack said, breaking the silence as they walked down the pebble track. Rose looked at the doctor, who grinned. “Two companions of mine at the current moment” he said, nodding to Jack. “Well, Have been on and off for the last five years,” he said, making Rose giggle. “Ok then, let’s go meet them,” She said and all three broke out in a run back towards town.
Martha and Donna sat at a café on the water’s edge, talking about the doctor’s outburst and where exactly they were. “Well, Parallel Universe, Wait, That Was Where the Doctor Said Rose Was” Martha said, sitting forward and watching Donna for a moment. “Ages ago when we first met up with Jack, they were both glad she was alive,” Donna nodded before adding “That’s why they rushed out, if we are on that parallel Universe, than the doctor can go find Rose.” Martha nodded, looking back down towards the millennium centre of Cardiff.
The doctor rose and jack started to walk out of just plain exhaustion. “Let’s just do that when something is chasing us ok?” Jack panted, getting nods of agreement for the doctor and Rose. “Over There,” The doctor said suddenly, pointing to the café. “Yep, that’s them, come on then,” Jack said as the three started walking forward at a fast pace, soon recovered from the run.
“Hey Martha, Donna,” Jack greeted brightly as he joined the two at the table. He had jogged ahead, wanting to be the first to warn them. “Any luck?” Donna’s normal answer was for once right. “Yep, Found Her, They’re coming” He said as the doctor and Rose reached them, still holding hands tightly. The doctor grinned at Martha and Donna. “Martha, Donna, This is Rose, Rose, Martha and Donna” he said pointing out who was who. Rose reached out and shook hands with them.
It was awhile later and after the sun had gone down. The hours of talking, laughing and joking had made Rose forget all about the time. She finally looked down at her watch and gave a small gasp, leaping to her feet and making the doctor and jack jump. Jack of course tumbled off his chair as Rose flicked her leather jacket off the back of the seat and slipped it on. ”Oh My God, Is That Really the Time. I’ve got to Get Home before Mum Slaughters Me.” That of course wasn’t the reason at all. Today was Sky’s sport’s carnival and Rose had promised she would be home earlier than normal to take her out for tea. “Why, what’s The Time,” Jack said, climbing back up and looking at his own. It was seven PM and the town was starting to thin. “Oh, Rose, Cool it, its early still.” Rose glared at Jack for a moment before turning to the others. “I really need to be getting home, I’ve got to take Sky out for tea, and I promised her tonight I’d be home early.” The doctor looked at Rose before Jack spoke. “Who’s Sky?” He asked, watching her for a moment. Rose glared and Jack before moving next to the doctor and kissing is cheek. “Look, I’m going to bring her down, at least that way she can meet you instead of just the stories I’ve told her.” And with that, Rose pelted off down the street, leaving for the second time that day, a group unsure how to act over her outburst.

Sky sat on the steps outside the house with a sigh. Tonight her mother had promised that they would go out. Her jeans were soft on the inside but still itched again her legs. Her blue shirt’s collar was up and ruffled while her long, blonde hair fell neatly down her shoulders. She sighed, looking up as she spotted the running figure of Rose. Smiling softly, Sky pulled herself to her feet to be greeted with a hug. “I’m so sorry Sky, I got caught up with some friends,” Rose said quickly. Sky grinned happily at Rose, grabbing her hand. ”At Least you’re here, now we can go!” She said keenly, looking up at her mother with soft eyes. Rose smiled back and ruffled her brown streaked hair, starting down the street. “Yeah, Now we can go.” Rose took her daughter’s hand and led her off along the street, a huge grin across her jaws.
