Cheteahclaw did not reply. He knew she was right. He padded into the cavern, tail swishing and fear sent just noticable. He rounded a corner. Padding over to the pool of water, he closed his eyes, wondering what lay ahead. He knew he musn't speek, but wanted to run over and burry his muzzle into Bluebreeze's fur. He looked at her, and then drank a bit of the water, it's crystal depth's flowing into him. It was very, very cold...Cheetahclaw lay down, head on his paws and shut his eyes, brushing his tail over her. He shut his eyes, and waited for sleep to come.

A fog swirled around Cheetaclaw and enveloped him, cats surrounded him including one small she-cat. She looked exactly like Bluebreeze except her coat was a deeper brown. "Greetings" the cats said in unison

Cheetahclaw looked at them, not knowing what to say. A new fear rose in his chest, flowing al the way to hi throat.
A fiery ginger tom with a spotted pelt rose from the croud. "Father..." Cheetahclaw breathed. His father had died just after his apprenticeship.
He spoke, touching his nose to Cheetahclaw's. "With this life I give you courage. Use it well to defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life." He rumbled, a voice much like his son's. Cheetahclaw did not expect what came next. He shook with a feirce ditermination, pain corced through him and he was left shaking, not knowing if he could endure nine of these.

A small kit trotted up to him, he had been a friend of Cheetaclaw's during their kithood and had died when a fox had killed him. "WIth this life I give you Justice" he mewed wisely, "Use it to judg your clan fairly, no matter what you may think at first" he touchd noses with him and sent a bolt of energy through Cheetaclaw, filled with uncertainty and worry, then satisfaction of knowing what he'd done was right.
As he backed away another came forward, a she-cat who'd almost betrayed her clan, only to stay and been killed in a battle. "With this life I give you loyalty" she mewed "use it for what you know to be right" she touched noses with him
((Can Bluebreeze's mother give him the last life and the life of love?))

#3 Silverstream gave him the life with the gift of loyalty to what he knows to be right.
#4 Runningwind gave Firestar the life with the gift of tireless energy, so he could serve his Clan to the utmost.
#5 Brindleface gave Firestar the life with the desire to protect his Clan, as a queen would protect her kits.
#6 Swiftpaw gave him the life with the gift of mentoring.
#7 Yellowfang gave the life with the gift of compassion, the compassion like a medicine cat to his/her clan.
#8 Spottedleaf gave him the life with the gift of love.
#9 Bluestar gave him his last life, along with the gifts of nobility, certainty, and faith, so that he would be able to lead his Clan in the way of the warrior code for all of his nine lives.

((Sorry- I dubble posted))
The brown tom shook with both lives, and as the pain ebbed away, he found himself frozen. A small dilute calico with the blueest eyes he had ever seen padded forward. This was Rainpaw, his first love as an apprentice. "Rainpaw...I'm sorry. It's my fault you died..." As apprentices, their had been a battle just before they were made warriors. The EagleClan leader had attacked her, mistaken the apprentices for the Clan deputy, Rainpaw's mother. He had not helped her, and she had been killed.
But the calico ignored him, eyes filled with proudness. "With this life I give you mentoring. USe it well totrain apprentices and make them worthy wariors of your Clan." She mewed, touching her nose to his shoulder and padding back, no trace of their previous love in her eyes. He was slightly hurt by this, but strangly not upset. She was dead, and he had moved on. He drank in the life, no pain was here.
