"I'm fine!" She growled menisingly, eyes suddenly blazing.
A silver she-cat walked through the undergrowth, her silver pelt shining in the sunlight. She picked some leaves with her mouth, but set them down again when she heared the voice of an angry she-cat. "Snowbird?" She wondered out loud.

Mogpaw crouched low, something really was up! But the voice in his mind, the logical one, told him to close his mouth after apollogising. He'd never trained so well so he couldn't be the reason she was angry. He raised his head a fraction and mewed, loudly and more shaky than intended "I'm sorry Snowbird" then his head dropped again and his eyes glimmered with submission.

Silverrain purred with amusement. She walked slowly towards the white and ginger she-cat, tail high. "It's alright. She's not mad at you." Breathed the Silverrain as she passed the apprentice tomcat, bruishing her tail reashuringly over his shoulder. "Snowbird...are you alright?" She purred.
"Why is everyone asking me that?" She meowed, looking around as if many more cats were looking at her. She looked back at her medicine cat. "I think your pregnant," breathed Silverrain under her breath, so not even Mogpaw could hear. Snowbird nodded. She knew. She had known for a few days. But no longer. It scared her, but there was nothing she could do about it. She shrugged. "We have training to do." She meowed briskly, a cool hint in her voice. "Oh no, no traning today. Mogpaw," She meowed, turning to the apprentice. "For the next little while, there will be no battle training. Now go help the elders." she meowed. "And as for you..." She said, turning and walking with Snowbird into the woods, so they might talk about what to do. Soon, they were out of sight, leaving Mogpaw alone.

Mogpaw looked confused, but then again, she was the medicine cat so he ran off, bumping into Darknight who looked at him but Mogpaw mewed "She's talking to Silverrain" and off he ran, glancing back once to see Darknight settle himself to wait.

---later--- The sun was setting when the two she-cats returned to the small clearing. Silverrain knew everything now. How Darknight was the father. About her mother. Her fears. Everything. Their hushed whisperes faded as she soptted Darknight, and her green eyes grew wide with pain and fear. The she-warrior turned and disseapeered into the brush, her ginger tail tip the last vissable part of her. Silerrain purred with amusement. "Give her time." She meowed softly into his ear. Snowbird had made her promise not to tell. Anyone. At all. Even the father. And she was going to keep that promise, no matter what. She walked past the dark warrior, and into the Camp.

"Noting," She meowed coldly, avoiding eye contact with the dark tom. Her belly hurt. She felt sick, too, but would never give into weekness and let him see her like that.

"I..." trailed Snowbird, not knowing what to say. Suddenly, her eyes were ablaze, and she dug her clasws into the ground. "Move," Growled the white and ginger she-cat, green eyes cold.

"Or what?" Darknight growled darkly, he knew this was the only way to get through to her. Part of him just wanted to turn away...but he had faith in her.
