On the night of the storm
Six will be born
Two pelts of snow
Three pelts of sun
And of one of darkness
And inner turmoil will burn his soul.

One will be born to far away travellers,
One to a forbidden love,
Two shall be orphans
And the rest shall be sound.

They will travel far
To where the ground touches the sun,
A sacrifice shall be made
And it is there
That they shall save their clans.

Many moons ago a group of cats journeyed to the mountains in a far away land to seek safety for their clans. Once they returned, they found the land desolate; fires raged and storms blew. Many cats were dead, or had miraculously escaped and hidden. Among them was the tiny kit Stream, Blackshadow a brave and loyal deputy and Rainbowmist a proud and beautiful ex-medicine cat. The journey cats scattered, their friendship that had held strong on the journey turned to dust in an instant. The only two that stayed close and survived were Featherwing and Docstar. Collecting the lost cats together they journeyed far to find their new home.
It took four seasons to find it... more cats had joined them and many more had left but those four cats remained with a close bond. When they did find it they found many feral cats living apart and scared of one another. The cats brought them together and in time separated into four separate clans and teaching them the ways of StarClan.
Now Docstar rules the wing of the eagle or EagleClan
Blackstar rules the claw of the falcon or FalconClan
Sunstar rules the feather of the dove or Doveclan
And Bravestar rules the eye of the owl or Owlclan

But times change, all of the cats seem desperately on edge. Fights for territories become more and more violent even though there is an excess in prey. Everything seems to be turning upside down. Then a flood hits and the cats are forced to live together on a rocky gouge overlooking all of their past territory and for Docstar, Featherwind and the other journeying cats, their old home, completely destroyed. Even Stream, a now beautiful adult she-cat can do nothing. But six kits are born the night of the flood; two from EagleClan and DoveClan and one from FalconClan and OwlClan; all of these kits are exactly as the cats of their clan should be; the beautiful doves, the strong eagles, nimble falcons and wise owls. These kits have something that has not been seen so strongly since the sleek cats of Riverclan so long ago; the ability to swim like fishes. They grow to adolescences and when the second flood hits they are forced to find what is really going on, this is not a normal land.
